Organizations have changed hugely in war over the years. From prehistoric tactics to medieval strategies , you might think that technology had changed dramatically . Not only that, but organization in battles has changed a lot too. In prehistoric war , it was hand to hand combat, maybe a couple of swords or so. But as tactics changed, soldiers started using longer ranged weapons such as bows and spears. These were new to the world of war , and were only known to be used for hunting. But these two weapons, changed the way of war battles .
Ancient battles of war wasn’t different from prehistoric times just by the technology, but also the strategies of soldiers. In prehistoric war battles , soldiers were everyday farmers. and when those farmers left for war, their crops weren’t tended , and the town of those farmers were starved. As city-states turned into empires though, more and more people were in a village. So, as the population grew, not everybody were farmers, and empires started to make an official army. Now, they could still have the farmers, and have an army. Also with an official army, they could make it bigger , and train to have better and larger tactics.
