Outsourcing for Internet Marketers

Most people who have built a successful internet marketing business online have done the majority of the work themselves.  This is not only an accomplishment but it is also a great way to learn the business.   Oftentimes, experienced IMs will, after several years and a lot of scar tissue, be able to teach seminars on how to create and market their internet products or services.

Now, with both the addition of increased technologies and the maturation of outsourcing in general, it is possible to outsource literally everything associated with an internet-based business.  As recently as just several years ago, the only things that were typically outsourced were the creation of the actual website itself and the web hosting service that supports the connection to the internet.

Today, you can actually outsource every single facet of your business.   Take, for instance, those IMs who sell an actual hard-product that must be warehoused, inventoried, pulled, packed, shipped, and billed.  Not only can all of those functions now be outsourced, but they can all be posted at the same firm.   There are logistics firms that will even host your order processing and billing functions from the same site.  You can purchase and download a top registry software package that does this.  They also perform the other registry fix functions that accomplish any needed Registry Repair.

From the standpoint of marketing services, there are firms that do everything from SEO and Website Promotion to online advertising, graphics, logo creation, banner design, even brochure layout, setup and printing.  In addition, most of these services can be tailored to both your level of service or size of company, but they offer package deals that allow you to save money and have both the support level and the concentration of contact and communication to a single point.  The question becomes one of need versus budget.

Assuming that you are, like most IMs, achieving an early level of success and you want to relax and enjoy life a little.  Which services and how much to spend then becomes the set of critical decisions that need to be answered before you commit to take on outsource partners.

Most experts agree that the first elements to outsource are the ones you cannot easily handle now, along with the ones you intend to outsource anyway.   These then will be ultimately handed off in some fashion and they are typically the best candidates for early outsourcing.  The other consideration is obviously cost.   This element should be played against the degree of gradual escalation in service level that is justified by early, proven success.

Timing and business evolution is the last point of consideration and you should plan out where you want the business to be in five years.   This means that you should start thinking about interjecting a strategic planning process into your operation.
