Ways to relieve stress.
For those of you who don’t know this, I’m a huge gamer. I have been since my parents first got my a gaming console, back in 89. I was three years old, but instantly I knew it was love at first sight. I even had the desire when I got a little older to go back and check out some of the original stuff from the Atari days. I have been a “nerd” or “techie” all my life. All the aspects of how a game is created all the way down to the programming is interesting to me. I work at the local Gamestop, and one day I was reading in a gamer magazine about people expressing their love for games. I couldn’t express to you how happy I would be if I was able to work for a company designing games, that would be absolutely amazing. It got me to thinking about my passion for games. I personally have traffic signs from my local sign store here who specialize in Newark signs and Staten Island decals for games painted on the front of them. I have window decals of certain game characters from Staten Island Signs. I even have a couple custom banners over my gaming system that I write the name of the game down on, for every game that I beat. I realize some of you reading this can relate, and some of you may not be able to as much as others, but case in point, I love video games. For me gaming is the perfect way after a long day to come home and relax and take some time off. People use to think that games make you brain dead, or stupid. The truth is most games these days have so much detail, and enthralling story lines to them that your brain is constantly in a state of question and answer trying to figure it out. And lets not forget the shooter game that require so much strategy. It really is quite an amazing industry if you actually take the time to sit down and think about it. I know how much I love it.
